Childrens' Ministry
Families come in many varieties, but we all can agree that our Father in Heaven deeply desires that we do all we can in leading children to Him. That is the purpose of the Arvada Church of Christ Children's Ministry.
The Arvada Church's Children's Ministry adheres to a few guiding principles:
1. It will be a safe place for children.
2. The spiritual development of children into Christian adults is a top priority for the congregation. We know that families are the first, last, and best place for training and instruction, so our programs shall be focused on supplementing and supporting parents’ efforts, NOT as a substitute or replacement.
We also believe that the structure of our corporate worship must include children.
3. The investment of effort and excellence into this ministry is the reflection of the value we place on the children of the congregation.
ACTIVITIES:
Sunday 9 AM- Adults and Teens are enjoying classes, but the young kids are having a good time in the play room. Some singin', some prayin', some learnin', and a whole lot of fun!
Sunday 10 AM- We love the sound of kids worshipping with us, but when the teaching time comes (a.k.a. "the sermon") the kids are dismissed for some age appropriate teaching. (a.k.a. "Bible Class")
Sunday 5:30 PM- Young Family Small Group meets at the church building. We start by eating together BYOFF ("Bring your own fast food"). Then we have discussion and devotional worship that kids of all ages can enjoy. Finally, the kids are dismissed to the playroom so the adults have some time for conversation.
